Hulu is soon going to start inserting more advertisements into its live sports streaming platform. The company has partnered with NHL to push ads heavily into live sports. If you want to watch a live football match between the Alex Ovechkin and Pittsburg Penguins, then you can subscribe to Hulu live feature. This month, we mean from May onwards, Hulu is soon going to offer dynamic ads with the live television platform. It includes sports as well.
According to the company officials, they said that the advertisers are trying to reach the target youngsters who love to watch sports channels by paying a monthly subscription of $39.9 to Hulu streaming service. Those who have subscribed to this service can watch news, shows and sports event on their big screen.
The ads which we are talking about here will start showing up on selected cable network within coming weeks. These ads will be in addition to the already running typical ads which you see during breaks in live broadcasting. Hulu also said that the same will start broadcasting on all Hulu live service from this summer season.
This news has been revealed by Hulu in the Interactive Advertising Bureau pitch fest held in New York City. Hulu, through New York Goaltender, Henrik Lindquist has revealed this news. A special presentation ceremony was held at Madison square garden in New York City Where Hulu has confirmed its partnership with much-growing advertisers. Hulu is sponsoring the Stanley Cup playoff and its final so as to lure more and more customers towards its platform.
Hulu also revealed that the customer base of this company has crossed 20 million for both on-demand and live TV service. This increase in the customer has been witnessed in last three month. Hulu has now launched its new plan in which a user has the option to download the content and watch them offline. If you are going somewhere on vacation, then you can go for offline viewing with this plan.
According to Hulu theory, the dynamic ads will provide an opportunity to advertisers to target particular households and insert ad for a short period of time. Hulu also believes that ads are a part of any sports, so it continues to provide traditional ads on cable broadcasting.
Other streaming services like Netflix, amazon prime initially lure customers by offering Ad-free content at a lower price. Later on, they start shifting their plans for Live TV service in which user is bound to watch an ad after every over or goal.
Hulu is not the only which is going to kick off more ads, Even video channel named YouTube is also going to begin selling ads in the service with the objective of reaching every household and cord cutters.
Hulu which is a part of The Walt Disney Company, Time Warner and Fox started streaming live sports on its platform last year. Hulu said the company has earned a decent profit by adding live sports on its service.
Hulu subscribers can now access live broadcasting of games sponsored by Major Pro, the college league. Along with this, it also includes NCAA football and basketball.
